Pecan Pie Bars

Crust:Crust: In a large mixing bowl, combine into fine crumbs the flour, sugar, salt, and butter. Press into an ungreased 15x10 or 11x7 baking sheet. Bake 350 degrees for 18 to 22 minutes, or until lightly browned.
Topping:
4 large eggs
1 1/2 cups white granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups light corn syrup
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/2 cups finely chopped pecans
